WHAT IS KAPOK FIBER
Kapok fiber is a natural, sustainable material derived from the kapok tree (Ceiba pentandra). Renowned for its lightness, softness, and buoyancy, kapok offers a unique set of properties that make it an invaluable resource across multiple industries.

Applications-Where Kapok Fiber Shines
Kapok fiber can be used in a wide range of applications, including pillows and bedding, mattresses and upholstery, insulation, marine and flotation equipment, as well as eco textiles. Its natural buoyancy, softness, and sustainability make it an excellent alternative to synthetic materials in both household and industrial uses.
CAN BE USED
A1 Grade
This is the highest quality grade, characterized by:
• Minimal impurities like leaves, twigs, polypropylene and other foreign matter
• Low lees content(remnants of the kapok fruit)
• Consistent fiber length
• Softness and comfort A2 Gade • Cleanliness level of approximately ± 98% • Suitable for Spinning and Filling
A2 Grade
While still considered a good quality product, it has slightly higher levels of impurities than A1 grade, such as :
• Cleanliness level of approximately ± 95%
• Suitable for filling applications like pillow, mattresses, and upholstery
• Offer a balance of quality and affodability
A3 Grade
These grades typically have a higher level of impurities than A1 or A2 grades, such as:
• More short fiber lenght
• Suitable for filling applications like pillow, mattresses, and upholstery
• Cleanliness level of approximately 80-85%
